Gregory D. Golden
Gregory D. Golden ("Greg") is a native Atlantan. Greg obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Georgia and his Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law, Samford University. He was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Georgia in 1997. He is a member of the American Bar Association, including the Section of Family Law; State Bar of Georgia, including the Family Law Section; and the Atlanta Bar Association, including the Family Law Section.
Greg has practiced domestic and family law since graduating law school and becoming a member of the State Bar of Georgia. In 1997, Greg was hired by the Law Office of Lawrence D. Kupferman as an associate, and became a full partner in 2001. Greg has also been admitted to practice in the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia, in which he conducts his appellate practice, working to correct unjust results. In recent years, Greg has successfully argued cases before the Supreme Court of Georgia, including,

- Conrad vs. Conrad, 278 Ga. 107, 597 S.E.2d 369 (2004)

In addition, Greg has been successful before the Court of Appeals of Georgia, including

Greg also serves as a guardian ad litem in the Superior Courts of Georgia. In such a capacity, he is appointed by the Court to represent the best interests of children in contested custody matters. He investigates the issues in such cases by meeting with the parties, meeting with the children, interviewing witnesses (lay and expert), as well as reviewing all relevant documentation (e.g., school records, medical records, photographs, court filings, police reports, etc.). At the end of his investigation, he makes a report to the Court concerning his conclusions and recommendations.
